Lieutenant-Colonel Hugh Richard Scarlett, 7th Baron Abinger DSO (1878 – 1943) was a British peer.
Scarlett was the son of Lieutenant-Colonel Leopold James Yorke Campbell Scarlett. He was a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery, and he fought in the Boer War in South Africa from 1900-1902. He served in World War I from 1914-1918 and was awarded the DSO.
Lord Abinger married Marjorie Ursula MacPhillany in 1913, and they had at least one son, James, who succeeded to the title upon his father's death.
